Yup
Actually they were closed on mondays through the winter and spring, but now they are open on Mondays 11-8.
Amazing as always they're large all beef burritos are to die for!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
Bland and just awful. Husband could not even eat. Very disappointed.
I've driven by Chico's Taco House a number of times and finally was able to stop and sample their food. I had the Mexican Rice with ground beef and it was quite good. Enough food for two people.
Haven't been here for over 20 years, really nothing changed. Had an amazing wet burrito. No bells and whistles but good food.
I had the chicken wet burrito......the sauce was about like tomato soup.... not much if any seasoning in it. The bathroom was nice and clean but the floor was filthy. I definitely wont be back
This is such a great place for Mexican food. Love the chicken tacos and chips and salsa. Great service and quick service.
Amazing food every time!
The food is good, portions are generous, not the Chicos of old but pretty close. I miss the salt on the chips and the fresh made that morning taste but I'll take a Chicos lunch over any other in Cadillac if given a choice
Me and my wife have been going here 1-2 times every month or so for years. All ways been very happy with the food. But we called today for a carryout we aren't happy at all. I don't know if it's because of covid-19 or what but the burrito sauce was bland and watery my wife's burrito had basically no beans in it. Mine had none. She Ordered the large chicken and bean burrito with lettuce and tomato, I Ordered the large chicken bean and rice with lettuce and tomato. Ordered 2 sweet sauce 2 hot sauce and sour cream. We got 2 sweet 2 picadigo and 2 green white sauce that was basically water. The only thing right was our large chips and cheese deluxe. I hope that they fix this when all of this is over.. And if they changed the sauce I hope they aren't putting lard in it now. My wife doesn't eat pork. That's why we don't eat at la senioreta they put lard in all the sauces. Be sad to lose this great little Mexican restaurant.
Came in about 45 minutes before they closed after a long trip from flint. Ordered some enchiladas and a wet burrito to go. This was some of the quickest, tastiest burritos I've had. We'll definitely visit again when we come back!
Family service and delicious food 😋
I love this place. Huge portion to cost ratio. Friendly and homey atmosphere. Exactly what you WANT when you go out to eat. And delicious!!
Awesome food and great service, I highly recommend this restaurant
Had the wet burrito and it didn't disappoint. It was great.
Taco was remarkably bland. The salsa was unremarkable, and not marked as to which was more spicy, we had to dump salsa on the bland "seasoned" chips. Salsa is bottles rather than a small bowl so there's no dipping like in other Mexican restaurants. My friend had to ask for sour cream for her tostada, something that is typically served with tostadas. Perhaps if they get rid of the American food and focus on the Mexican they will be able to do much better. The carpet was disgusting, the tables were too small for 4 people, we had to take the chips off the table which doesn't make sense for a Mexican restaurant; the fridges and freezer are in the dining room; I could feel the wind coming in from around the windows. Their prices were reasonable, 4 of us spent total of $30. I very much doubt I will be back, I'd rather go to Taco Bell because, frankly, they do Mexican better.
The food here used to be top shelf, but it was so bland it could have been served in a hospital cafeteria and been considered bland. Seriously, I've had better flavor experiences eating a MRE. IT'S TASTELESS! Wait staff was polite and pleasant, but it really would have been nice to have had a fork to eat my tasteless enchiladas.
Beef Chimi was actually beef and not ground hamburger. Cozy little place!
Easy online ordering made it a quick stop on our way through town. Food was tasty and packaged conveniently.
Great Tacos!! Poor service :( Next time we will just take it to go! Teach the waiter how to service your customers please. Received chips & salsa, then 5-7 more minutes to get our drinks. He never brought the sauces that came with our food and we had to beg for our check...which took another 6-8 minutes to get. (They only had 3 other tables)
Food was bland. Paid 4.50 for fajitas got two. When asked if it will fill me up they said yes. Well they were about a 6 in wrap. Not even close... Sparse on the steak. Wont go back...
Good little Mexican place. Burritos were huge
It was not the best. The family and I weren't happy with the outcome of the quality provided to us. Unfortunately it was very bland and cold. We had to wait an hour for it as well. Service was decent, food not at all. I know restaurants are struggling right now so the only positive thing I can say is thank you for providing food but that is it. Take care and God speed.
A very cozy atmosphere. Excellent service, an appropriate priced food. Definitely recommend for a nice Mexican dinner.
Service was good. Prices good. I did not care for the food, has a Texmex resemblance. Not what I was hoping for.
Awesome food. Best mexican in town including Traverse city beats huraduras hands down. Best of all is the pinto beans. Best I've had in a years.
Food was terrable service was terrable. We came here just to eat. What a disappointment. It's not the same food it use to be.
Good food. The wait staff is a little slow.I saw 4 customers walk out, because they weren't acknowledged.
Great service and food. Loved the super hot salsa. Great price. Very fresh ingredients.
Great enchiladas. Outdoor seating
Shredded beef wet burrito. Unseasoned, refrigerator cold beef. In a tortilla with cheese on top. No spices, no flavors nothing. Not even salt. I've had better burritos at a gas station for 1/4 the price. Thanks. Hard pass
Excellent food and service with a wide variety menu for your favorite Mexican meals. Complementary tortea chips and sauce every time you eat in.
Plenty of great food at a good price. Nice outside seating area.
Staff is polite and on point.Food was Good. Not as "Spicy" as I would like it,But I understand not all folks can handle the way I like it.Nice little place over all.
They generally get the order right in the food is very good. Try their white cheddar poblano soup!
Entreés were smaller than expected with little to no attention paid to spice and/or flavor. Wait times were longer given only 2 tables were occupied. Waitress admitted to not paying much attention to our order when she brought out the wrong soup. Only good I have to say is it hits the spot on a cold day.Establishment was a bit dirty as if not cleaned at the end of the day or at least the start of it.
Love it large portions
Always a great meal!
Sorry but you need to add more spice. Great prices. And great portion's.
Typical americaniz'd Mexican food. Heavy on the sauce and cheese.
Good food good service
Chico's Taco House never disappoints. The Sweet-hot homemade salsa is unique and worth the two hour drive. And freshly shredded cheese that adorns each dish adds a rich, savory goodness. The homemade chips are very crunchy and hold up to cheese queso or salsa very well. My wife loves the wet burrito and the junior sized choice is plenty big enough to feed two or bring half of it home. The outside is an old house and the inside is small, but don't let that stop you from eating here. It's wonderful!
Amazing food, great environment, and great service and staff
food was good service was good they werent busy when we went so all in all a pleasent experiance planning on a return trip....
Open when they want specials when they want
Never received our drinks until our order came, ordered beef and been burrito (no bean). Asked for drink refills three, times finally received. Very poor service. Won't be coming back. Very SAD!
Food was bad, waitress was slow, the “hottest” salsa wasn’t even hot. It’s Mexican but they also serve burgers and hotdogs. Music wasn’t enjoyable. It’s a quaint establishment. They don’t pay attention to customers. This is what came up when I searched.
Fresh ingredients & fast service. Verde salsa has a nice kick, other salsas are very mild. Big portions. Cheerful atmosphere, limited seating. Big menu with lots of variety.
Went here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and I would definitely go back again when I'm in the area. I ordered a wet burrito (chicken) and it was delicious. I went with the full sized order, but for lunch the smaller size would probably have been enough. The location is convenient, however there isn't an over-abundance of indoor seating so if you go with a larger group I would go early.
Best tacos...great service...a deffinate must try..worth the drive from anywhere!!!
Best mexican food in Cadillac. Always great service....and they are one of very few that give back to the community. Caddy Pride Inc. will always come for a visit ❤
